The AUSTRONG consortium held their 8th and final face to face meeting at ACERINOX in Los Barrios, Spain on 3rd December 2024.

TUBAF completed hot torsion tests on the final 3 alloys.

ACERINOX studied the general and local corrosion resistance of the final 3 alloys using both weight loss and electrochemical techniques.

CSM studied the weldability of the 3 alloys and optimum welding parameters were established. For each alloy welded joints were successfully created and their mechanical properties examined.
